I am Denni Dennis and I grew up in Clanton, Alabama. It's a small town in central Alabama that is known for it's wonderful peaches. I still think that Chilton County Peaches are far superior to Georgia peaches even though I have lived in the Atlanta area for 28 years now!
I live right here in Grayson with my husband, Earl and our daughter, Addi Grace. Addi Grace is in the 2nd grade here at Starling and it is my hope that your child will love school as much as she does!
I got my undergraduate degree from the University of Montevallo in Alabama. I received my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Brenau University in their cohort program. I have taught for 28 years in the Atlanta area. I taught for 25 years in the DeKalb County School System and them moved to Gwinnett two years ago. This will be my third year at Starling and I consider it such a blessing to be apart of the Starling family.
My life is very busy attending Addi Grace's sporting events (thankfully she takes after her father and is very athletic!), church activities, and ballet. Our family is very involved at Snellville First Baptist and we are just beginning rehearsals for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Addi Grace and I will both be performers in the show and Earl (who is an artist) will be involved in the set design. Our first experience with Dinner Theater was last year's performance of Annie. We were hooked after that! I am also and avid runner. With our crazy schedule it is hard to fit it in but thankfully the only thing you need is a good pair of shoes and time! I also enjoy working out at the gym. Last year we played on a coed softball team but sadly weren't invited back! =) I was quite an embarrassment!
